Snowy Village found its first location in Richmond B.C. in the summer of 2015 and began construction The idea of snowy textured bingsoo was derived from its success in Korea. Unlike traditional style shaved ice which uses water as its main ingredients. Snowy Village Canada uses 100% Canadian milk which gets frozen and shaved to make the bingsoo look like snow. In December 2015, the first Snowy Village was opened in Richmond. This modern day ” Bingsoo” store serves up the most delicious bingsoo, croissant taiyaki, smoothies, coffee and more. It has become an instant fixture in the neighborhood. Welcoming people from all over the city to gather and enjoy fresh, simply, high quality version of the classic bingsoo.
